SkillPort Market ("we", "us", "our") operates the website skillport.market and the skillport CLI tool. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Account Information: When you sign up via GitHub OAuth, we receive your GitHub username, email address, and profile avatar. We store these in your SkillPort profile.

Usage Data: We collect basic analytics such as page views, download counts, and search queries. We do not use third-party tracking scripts.

Payment Information: Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or bank account details.

Published Content: When you publish a skill, the package contents, manifest metadata, and scan results are stored on our servers.

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the SkillPort marketplace service
• Process transactions and send related information
• Display your public profile and published skills
• Run security scans on uploaded packages
• Communicate with you about your account or purchases
• Detect and prevent fraudulent or malicious activity

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

• Stripe: For payment processing and seller payouts
• Supabase: Our database and authentication provider
• Vercel: Our hosting provider

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Published skills and reviews remain available unless you delete them or request removal. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing skillport.market@gmail.com.

We implement appropriate security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed tokens, and Ed25519 cryptographic signatures for package verification. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

You have the right to:

• Request deletion of your data
• Export your data
